Remember last week when I said I was tired?
Stupid me. I would kill to have that level of energy back. This week feels similar to the feeling your body has when you get the flu- minus any other symptoms. I even had to take off work yesterday. Makes sense you say? I work from home. I could not sit in a rolling office chair for longer than 20 minutes. At one point I stood up and thought “maybe standing is just not for me anymore.” The struggle is real.
Luckily the fatigue is the worst of it. I have been getting sore muscles and cramps which is great considering I have done nothing. Food is still okay. Not eating anything exotic or flavorful- white rice and peas was a success yesterday. (Note- this was literally peas and white rice with nothing else added). Maybe I’ll start a cooking show- Bland Bites. A slice of toast, one avocado, 4 plain tortilla chips, buttered noodles- tune in for more exciting dishes sure to underwhelm your guests. I have also been using moisturizer twice a day as my skin has become dryer.
Many would probably argue that I should have been doing this anyways but, I’m a man, and you know, that’s not manly (or whatever stereotype you want to drop in).
Other than that everything has been going well. A few random notes:
Watch Bad Sisters on Apple TV, you won’t regret it.
I have put mugs and shirts with different ribbon colors in the store after a few people reached out.
Southside on HBO Max is a great but very random show.

PS I love buttered rice. Time for all the carbs on a plate! I need to make you more bread to add to your bland diet 😊
