I always have a laugh and somehow feel better reading your posts, Joe, and much of what you wrote this time is exactly what I'm feeling - the part about what you're at peace with. My scans are coming up in a few weeks too and I have the same attitude. Tells me it's the right one.
Thank you Barry. As for being the right one- not sure BUT for me it is the best one honestly. I was deep in it last year, convinced I would die. This mindset is a million times better let me tell you. Plus I try to remind myself that stage 4 cancer in 2023 is not what it was 10, 20, 30 years ago. Just another number and does not equal a death sentence. Hope you’re doing well too Barry!
Another pleasurable read, thank you, Joe. Your ability to laugh in the face of cancer is wonderful. You do provide a humorous side to this awful diagnosis. I too, look at the humorous side and the benefits of having cancer. I don’t focus on the negatives either, I look at the positives and there are quite a few if I take time to look for them. You’ve increased my vision ability when looking at cancer and how it has affected my life. For this, I am incredibly grateful to you! My hope is that you suffer less and smile more! Remember, we are part of an exclusive club, unfortunately, no one wants to be a member of it. But hey, WE are part of it and WE have been blessed with a lot of simple things that WE used to take for granted! Glad you’re getting ready for some down time off of the meds. Have a safe and fun 4th my friend 🌭🍗🍔🍉💥☀️👨👨👧👦🤗
Thanks so much Dan for the kind words. I appreciate your insights and weekly reminders to enjoy life! Hope everyday you’re feeling better and can avoid another inpatient stay for the foreseeable future!

As I say "no warrior T shirts were harmed in the writing of this post" - good to be here Joe, I'll read back through as I just found you!
Thanks Yvonne. I’m going to dive into yours later too!
