So, I just saw a commercial for a show called Table Wars on Discovery+. I am by no means suggesting it is good, but it may be mind numbing enough to be worth a view when you are on the ‘good’ drugs. Otherwise, I am a fan of Fast Foodies, but reserve that for when you can chuckle a bit since they have some funny guests. Lastly Fargo is a great show if you haven’t seen it. The last season stars Chris Rock (pre-slap of course). Oh, and most importantly sending you all the biggest virtual hug and all of the positive energy. I have been lighting a St. Jude and St. Joseph candle everyday. Figured couldn’t hurt 😉. Love ya kid! 🤗
I'm having trouble sleeping and thinking about tv...and realized I meant to drop some recs but never did! Like Amber, I also loved Fargo, all the seasons were great. If you've never seen The Wire it's a must watch. It's so good, the first time (I said first) Jeff and I watched it, we called in sick to work to binge watch the entire season in 4 days. My favorite tv show of all time. I also really liked Chernobyl and...kind of related...but not... The Americans. I also love binge watching Shark Tank. Nothing like reality tv + impulse shopping to improve your mood. Rooting for you!!
Inspired by your writing, I wrote a long comment filled with witty repartee, and when I hit “post” it told me I wasn’t logged in and deleted my comment. So now I’ll just list my recs: Money Heist on Netflix—5 season of pure enjoyment, and you won’t notice the subtitles after 2 minutes. Ted Lasso on Apple. Squid Games. The Walking Dead—it’s so dumb but I’m still entertained and we’re like 37 seasons in. Kaminsky Method. Peaky Blinders, which auto correct keeps changing to Leaky Blinders. Maybe Leaky Blinders is even better? Derry Girls, but save that for after the stitches heal, especially the crying Virgin Mary episode.
